Profile Tyrecenter wanted to increase the sales of rims!
WDD built Augmented Reality (AR) solutions to lower the purchasebar and to give people a visual impression of the products they offer.
We gave the door-to-door-folder an interactive layer; ad's would be enriched with video-commercials, and the advertised products could be viewed from every possible corner like 3D-objects with the application.
We expanded the existing Profile Tyrecenter App. The expansion saw the possibility to showcase the rim-offer directly on the customer's car.
This way you immediately see which rims do work for your car, and which ones don't!
By placing an AR-Marker at the rims of the car, you are now possible to browse through the offers on your tablet or smartphone. The 3D-models of the rims will be plucked out of a database.
By filling in your license plate, you will see an immediate selection of the possibilities for your car. All of this, of course, with a direct link to the function where you place an order.
All of the 3D-models are built up my the least possible polygons. Despite of the details, the visuals could be viewed smooth and quickly within the application.
